MR Promotions is a dynamic mother-son creative team with a family history of BRCA1. Despite mother, Karen Restaino, testing positive for the BRCA1 gene fault and consequently undergoing prophylactic surgery to prevent Breast and Ovarian Cancer, over the past ten years, she has continued to work with her son, Massimo (Max), teaming up with many top brands and names in the entertainment industry and gaining momentum.

MAX RESTAINO has toured the UK and Ireland many times with MR Promotions Ltd, performing and appearing as a special invited guest for Peter Andre, Steps, UB40, Tears for Fears, etc. As a singer and multi-instrumentalist, he has worked with Gary Barlow on his last two hit number 1 albums, Peter Kay (Phoenix Nights- Live Tour) and his TV hit, Car Share, and Donny Osmond (60th Studio Album)

As a lyricist and composer, Max has worked with Happy Days star Don Most and the legendary LA Santa Baby composer Phil Springer. As composer,  he has written the single, 'Check Your Boobs,' from the new musical, Wendy's World. All the songs for the forth coming musical, Wendy's World, Max informs, " have been written from an emotional place, having witnessed my family living with BRCA1. The songs take you on an emotional journey with humour, tears and poignant messages."  

 

As well as stage managing the many UK Tours and appearances, novelist and playwright Karen Restaino was shortlisted for Channel 4's The Play's The Thing with her TV drama, Age Concerned. Her stage play, A Guinea Too Much, was successfully produced at the Mansfield Palace Theatre, and more recently, she published her debut novel, The Ringmaster, in 2023

 

The team is working on the new musical Wendy's World, which will  burst onto the UK Theatre scene very soon.
